Our Story

Motion Story has been telling stories since 2012. It was founded in Bali, established in Sydney, and now thriving in Byron. We are a small remote team that works with each other from across the globe. Our dedication to delivering quality work has grown our portfolio from the first video for Transferwise to creating an animated series for the RSPCA. We have grown by applying one ethos: ” Good Work Attracts Good Clients.” It’s a simple idea that has kept us moving.

We are small and agile and a good fit for companies who want a one-to-one approach.

Who You Will Work With

Hello, im Daniel Neale, Director, founder and occasional creative producer. My experience is vast. I have been trained as a graphic designer, I worked as a motion designer, and I am now working as a creative director. My in-depth experience allows me to draw from past projects, apply what I have learnt, and create compelling stories from fin air. This might sound strange, but I can literally see minutes of detailed animation from reading a brief. I am a passionate and obsessive storyteller who loves the challenge of turning a dry and complex subject into an engaging, clear animation. I am also a father, a surfer and a big-time animal lover, and I put 110% into everything I do.

Daniel and the team were incredible to work with. We had a larger explainer video project to work on and Motion Story made it easy to brainstorm, pivot ideas and collaborate at each stage. 10/10 would use again.
